The NET4Age-Friendly approach was presented in an international workshop.

On October 18th, Carina Dantas was one of the facilitators in the workshop “Health and Care Innovative Ecosystems – facilitating a life-course approach to active and healthy ageing”, integrated with the EWAHA – the European Online Week of Active and Healthy Ageing.

With Maddalena Illario, Guido Iaccarino and Regina Roller-Wirnsberger, Carina Dantas presented “Bridging domains to build synergies: the NET4Age-Friendly approach” and discussed how to support a life-course approach to active and healthy living, including the creation of smart and healthy age-friendly environments.

The workshop was a joint initiative supported by the RSCN (AHA – Reference Site Collaborative Network), SCIROCCO Exchange, VIGOUR, and also SHAFE, NET4Age-Friendly and ProMIS communities. It was built on products delivered by those projects and communities, and aimed to support further scaling-up of previously EU-funded initiatives.

The workshop provided an overview of the current framework for regional health and care innovative ecosystems to address a life-course approach to active and healthy ageing focusing on key learning outcomes and priority topics from involved communities, including interactive and case-based scenarios.
