On October 9th, the PRIORITY45 project was presented in a special webinar, in a presentation led by SHINE 2Europe, the coordinator of the project. The session focused on the key objectives and outcomes of this impactful project.
The event highlighted the virtual course developed in collaboration with our consortium partners: CETEM – Centro Tecnológico del Mueble y la Madera, CEIPES, LURS, and the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED). In addition to showcasing the course, the webinar also provided an overview of the other important results of the project, such as the Competency map of adults 45+, the Digital Handbook of Practices to inspire adults 45+ and organisations, and the almost ready Blueprint. 🚀
The PRIORITY45 project, funded under the Erasmus+ programme, is aimed at upskilling and reskilling adults aged 45 and over. It focuses on developing social and digital skills that are crucial for both personal and professional development and to bridge the gap between the Adult Education sector and the organisations. The aim is to equip adults with the skills they need to confidently adapt to an ever-evolving job market and societal changes.
Beyond discussing these critical skills, the webinar also focused on the addressed themes of Adult Education and lifelong learning. Christin Cieslak from the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) delivered an insightful presentation, reminding participants that adult education is about more than just preparing for professional roles. It also serves to:
- Foster full personal development
- Promote active citizenship
- Encourage social inclusion
- Support personal fulfilment
With the webinar video set to be released soon on the PRIORITY45 website and across social media platforms, this engaging and informative session will continue to inspire and inform a wider audience.
