SHINE 2Europe with active presence at Seminar: Exploring opportunities in the ageing agenda in Europe

Supporting healthy ageing requires strong public policies that take into account the specific needs, concerns and barriers to access of older adults. However, ageing related policies and long-term care systems differ substantially amongst EU countries, and a consensus on how to organize care to address growing inequalities is missing.

On June 23, Carina Dantas, participated in the Seminar: Exploring opportunities in the ageing agenda in Europe, organised by the World Bank Group with the support of AGE Platform Europe, in hybrid format, representing SHINE 2Europe, the SHAFE network and Net4Age-Friendly.

This seminar provided the opportunity to share diverse expertise and country-level experiences drawn from the scientific, policy and care provider communities.
