SHINE 2Europe is pleased to present the participants of the “Active Throughout Life” competition and their incredible talents.
As previously announced, SHINE was looking for artists over the age of 65 with special talents, who wanted to share them with the public through the competition taking place as part of the European project SAVE | Senior Activation in a Virtual Environment, funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program, of which SHINE 2Europe is a partner.
SHINE invites the public to marvel at the artistic skills of Maria Licínia Azevedo, Silma Paes Leme and Virgínia Soares, who have been brilliant in the areas of handicrafts, embroidery and painting. Their work will now be displayed on SHINE 2Europe’s social networks and website, while they await the decision on the final prize from the publication “Voice of Seniors”. The winner will have the distinction of seeing their work of art exhibited in this international magazine.
