SHINE participated in the third Transnational Project Meeting of the TourXpeRience project, held in Yecla, Spain, on 13 and 14 May 2026 and hosted by CETEM in a hybrid format. SHINE was represented in person by Natália Machado and online by Mehrzad Zargarzadeh and Luís Dias. The meeting brought together consortium partners to review project implementation, evaluate progress across the work packages, and coordinate the next phase of activities.
The first day focused on project management and operational coordination, setting the stage for productive exchanges on the project’s ongoing development. A significant part of the discussions centred on teacher training and capacity building, during which partners reviewed the TourXpeRience Training Programme and explored ways to strengthen its impact. Partners also assessed progress in XR scenario development, clarified translation responsibilities, and highlighted the importance of close collaboration to finalise the remaining scenarios in line with educational and sectoral needs.
Further sessions addressed the planning of international mobilities, with partners agreeing on the timeline and coordination requirements for the first mobility activities. Stakeholder engagement and sustainability strategies were also explored, with particular emphasis on strengthening the project’s LinkedIn community and contributing to the Pact for Skills initiative.
On the second day, partners took part in an interactive LinkedIn stakeholder engagement exercise, reviewed practical guidance for the design of immersive learning activities, and tested XR scenarios presented by CETEM. These hands-on sessions provided valuable opportunities for feedback, collaboration, and refinement of the project’s innovative learning tools. The meeting concluded with a clear roadmap and concrete next steps for the months ahead.
