On 26 June 2025, SHINE took part in a productive online Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the Memorable project consortium. The meeting was organised by ISIS Institut für Soziale Infrastruktur gemeinnützige GmbH, with support from the coordinating partner, Alzheimer Bulgaria Association.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the Memorable Compendium, currently being developed based on national reports from Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Portugal, and the Netherlands. These reports explore the extent to which people living with dementia and their informal caregivers can access and participate in cultural activities in each country.
Partners also discussed upcoming steps, including the development of the training curriculum and educational materials, as well as the Memorable e-learning platform, led by SHINE. The platform will translate research findings into practical resources to support cultural organisations in becoming more inclusive.
As leader of the project’s dissemination and promotion activities, SHINE also facilitated a session to review outreach efforts so far, encouraging all partners to reflect on their engagement strategies and identify further opportunities to raise awareness and broaden the project’s impact.
Memorable is an Erasmus+ project dedicated to fostering a dementia-friendly society by using art and culture as tools to connect people living with dementia to their communities. The consortium remains deeply committed to advancing accessibility, inclusion, and participation for people with dementia and their caregivers across Europe.
