SHINE has finalised the translation of the DESIRE educational platform into Portuguese, as an action to promote sustainability and accessibility to the project’s results. This initiative, which is part of the Erasmus+ DESIRE project, ensures that the course can now reach a wider audience.
The DESIRE platform is designed to equip professionals in the construction industry and home furnishings sector with the necessary skills to apply Design4All methods. These methods are essential for creating or adapting age-friendly housing, with the aim of improving the well-being, comfort and autonomy of older adults and individuals dependent on home care. Although primarily aimed at professionals in the sector, the course is open to anyone interested in learning more about how design can promote inclusion and support people from all ages.
