April 15, 2025 – The HERA | Helping Empower Women through Reskilling and Advancement project was officially launched in an online meeting led by the Project Coordinator, Escola Superior de Saúde Pública da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
SHINE participated in the meeting as the project’s Communication and Dissemination Manager and will also lead stakeholder engagement activities throughout the project.
The session brought together partners from across Europe, offering a chance to connect, share insights, and plan the first steps of the project. Key discussions focused on the communication strategy, the creation of HERA Labs, the development of the HERA Community Portal, policy experimentation, impact measurement, and the drafting of policy recommendations.
The consortium also scheduled the first in-person Transnational Project Meeting, set to take place this May in Lisbon.
HERA drives policy change to close the gender gap in employment by equipping women 45+ to support upskilling and career transitions through the HERA Labs and the AI- powered Community Portal.
