On February 24, SHINE participated at a Webinar on Social Inclusion for future workplaces promoted by the EU Social Innovation+ Initiative project ISRICM – Innovative Solutions for Refugee Integration and Crisis Mitigation in EU Member States.
SHINE’s CEO Carina Dantas was one of the key experts invited, along with Eva Turk – UAS St. Pölten, and Lars Münter – Nordic Wellbeing Academy. As an integral part of the ISRICM project, the webinar enabled participants to learn more about key principles, tools, and indicators that help social inclusion become a valuable mechanism for the future of European workplaces.
“It was a very nice discussion around societies fit for all”, says Carina Dantas. The group debated intersectionality and social inclusion, and shared thoughts about loss factors as proficiency measures, as well as “challenging ourselves to have open minds for other ways, other cultures, others different than us”. “Only diversity helps us grow and evolve. How can our world be forgetting this lately?”, Carina Dantas adds.
The webinars play an important role in strengthening public awareness, promoting exchange of knowledge, and highlighting innovative approaches.
