SHINE participated in the BRAVE-WOW 2nd General Assembly, held in Ljubljana on 19 and 20 February 2026.
During the General Assembly, partners reviewed overall progress, aligned on upcoming milestones, and discussed key methodological decisions, and the pilot implementation and its alignment across countries.
As leader of WP3 – Participatory Research and Stakeholders’ Engagement, SHINE presented progress on stakeholder mapping, engagement strategy, and ongoing coordination activities. The session outlined developments in engagement processes, cross-country coordination, and next steps for participatory activities.
In addition, SHINE as the leader of WP6 – Communication and Dissemination, provided updates on C&D activities by Inês Saavedra and Paola Bello in presence andMinoo Doost participating online and and the development of the Community of Practice.
International Event. Safe Work, Strong Care
On 20 February 2026, the Slovenian Ministry of Health hosted the BRAVE-WOW international online expert panel titled:
“Safe Work, Strong Care: Tackling Gender-Based Violence in Healthcare Workplaces.”
The panel brought together representatives from governance, research, workforce organisations, and international advisory bodies. Discussions focused on current challenges and emerging approaches to preventing gender-based violence in healthcare workplaces, highlighting the importance of linking research evidence, policy frameworks, and professional practice.
