SHINE 2Europe participated in the Kick-Off Meeting of the ABI_SPARK project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, which took place in The Hague, Netherlands, on 27 and 28 January.
This first in-person consortium meeting brought together all project partners and provided an important opportunity to share ideas, align strategies, and organise the initial project activities.
ABI_SPARK aims to empower adults living with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) by enhancing their participation and autonomy through the development of knowledge, the use of artificial intelligence, training actions, and personalised tools. The project is being developed in co-creation with people with ABI, alongside their families, friends, and key stakeholders.
Key expected outcomes of the project include:
- ABI passports and ID cards
- Specialised training programmes
- A dedicated Knowledge Hub
- A Community of Interest and Ambassadors to promote self-advocacy and raise awareness
Within the consortium, SHINE leads Work Package 4, focused on the Knowledge Hub, outreach, visibility, and engagement, an important responsibility that the organisation proudly embraces.
The consortium is coordinated by Stichting Voorall and includes the following partners:
