Carina Dantas, SHINE’s CEO, participated in the SMARTX Conference held in Budapest on October 27th, 2022. During her presentation, she used the SHAFE concept, NET4Age-Friendly and the new Horizon Europe coordinated by SHINE, SIRENE | Social Innovation Responsive Environments Network as a departing point to discuss how to empower citizens to promote social innovation. In her presentation, the Erasmus+ projects TRIO and GreenerAge were also presented as successful projects that are promoting citizen empowerment and literacy.
The City of Budapest District 13 holds the 2nd International Conference as part of its SMARTX!!! Program. This conference aimed to present SMARTX!!! Program, including the Smart District Concept, and the SMART13 Action Plan. Also, to present Europe’s leading smart city programs, and an excellent case from Newcastle, Australia, towards the establishment of an international partnership with the participating programs and cities for smart city developments.
SIRENE | Social Innovation Responsive Environments Network aims to support the growth of social innovation ecosystems delivering eco-friendly and sustainable community-based services for SHAFE (Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments) implementation in Europe.
