Flávia Rodrigues, Researcher in SHINE 2Europe led a workshop about the Smart Against Ageism project results. This workshop was organised on the 16th February 2024 in Coimbra, Portugal, and had five participants.
The aim of this workshop was to test one of the scenes of the SAA educational game, as the training kit, both developed by the consortium partners.
After explaining the concept of ageism, the two scenes of the game were presented, the facilitator helped the participants throughout the whole game scenes, answered every question they had and took notes of their opinions and struggles.
The major difficulties pointed out by the group was the letter size and the amount of text in some dialogues. In the SAA Game, the player should decide according to a Code of Conduct, and the participants love this feature.
SAA is an Erasmus+ project to raise knowledge against ageism.
Our consortium joins Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Lithuania, Bulgaria and The Netherlands in a creative and engaged team working together from January 2022 to June 2024!
