PhD researcher in Digital Media at INESC TEC in the HumanISE center, focusing on the area of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) using methodologies related to immersive learning and participatory design. Invited professor at the University of Porto's Faculty of Engineering's Department of Computer Science. Coordinator of TRIO-Adult Education on Digital Literacy in Health under the Erasmus+ program in the area of Digital Literacy in Health. In her PhD research she developed a model for using digital technologies to create immersive experiences in museums, in co-creation with museum staff and using gamified activities. She was responsible for the Multimedia department in the company Sistemas do Futuro - Multimédia, Gestão e Arte, from 2003 to 2022, with design, management and human resources coordination functions in national and international projects. She has received international and national awards and has contributed to several conferences and journals in the field of multimedia.
