On the 21 and 22nd of February, SHINE 2Europe hosted the fifth and final Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the GreenerAge project in Porto, Portugal.
The meeting, held in hybrid form, was an opportunity to present the latest advancements of the project.
During the meeting, the outcomes of the project were discussed: the compendium, the trainer manual, the policy recommendations booklet, and the e-learning platform, which will be officially launched in the upcoming weeks. Inês Saavedra, Project manager at SHINE, organised a study visit to Vintage for a Cause, a company and brand that focuses on circular design. This approach aims to minimize waste, recycle and use eco-friendly materials, and reduce environmental impact. The company offers exclusive clothing designed by various designers. Vintage for a cause supports an inclusion and empowerment initiative called “From Granny To Trendy,” specifically designed to involve and empower women over 50. This project provides training in sustainable fashion and opportunities for active participation.
The GreenerAge project has been an exceptional journey. It not only provided us with the chance to establish a strong network of partners dedicated to protecting the environment, but it also created an opportunity for continuous learning in the field of environmental and climate change.
