On July 2nd, SHINE and the other CARING-AI partners came together to review the project’s progress, exchange knowledge, and plan the next steps towards advancing AI-powered social robots for health and care.
The consortium discussed technical developments, collaborative activities, pilot progress, and future milestones, reinforcing the shared commitment to developing innovative, human-centred solutions that support healthcare professionals and improve people’s quality of life.

CARING-AI – Culturally Adaptive and Responsive AI-Driven Social Assistive Robots for Inclusive Care is a newly funded international project under the THCS Joint Transnational Call 2025. The project’s aim is to explore how social assistive robots can help strengthen primary and community care for migrant older adults, while keeping ethics, inclusion, and human values at the centre of technological innovation. SHINE leads the communication and dissemination activities of the project.
