Under the scope of the BRAVE-WOW project, SHINE coordinated the writing of the conference paper “Stakeholder Engagement to Promote Violence-Free and Gender-Inclusive Work Environments in the Health Sector”, developed in collaboration with several project partners. The paper was presented on October 22 by Inês Saavedra at the Conference on Democracy and Ethics in Organisations, organised by the Instituto Jurídico of the Faculty of Law, University of Coimbra.
Co-authored by Inês Saavedra, Minoo Doost, Paola Bello, Natália Machado, Marco Giustini, Maria do Rosário Fidalgo, Carla Semedo, Eva Turk, Jimena Pascual, Inés Rey Hidalgo, Oscar Suárez, Rita Berger, and Carina Dantas, the paper introduces a model for stakeholder engagement that promotes participatory collaboration among health professionals, public authorities, academia, media, and citizens to prevent gender-based violence in the health sector. This task is led by SHINE within the project.
This contribution reinforces BRAVE-WOW’s mission to promote violence-free and gender-inclusive workplaces, through systemic, multi-actor approaches that address complex societal challenges in a sustainable way.
